Every winter the small village of Dhordo in Kutch becomes the home of Rann Utsav. Just beyond the village the Great Rann of Kutch stretches into a white salt desert that glows silver under the full moon.
Dhordo is about 85 km from Bhuj (around 1 hr 45 min by road), the nearest airport and railway station. It hosts Rann Utsav Tent City and nearby tent resorts, so you stay close to the White Rann, the cultural evenings and the craft market.
