The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) announced the top 54 tourism villages and Dhordo village in Gujarat has gained a spot in the list.
Dhordo is a village in Gujarat. It recently made headlines for being named one of the best tourism villages in the world by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). It is indeed important to note that Dhordo is the only village from India to feature in the top 54 tourism villages as announced by UNWTO.

Celebrating this recognition, PM Modi and the government have announced that the village will host the Rann Utsav from November 1, 2023, to February 20, 2024.
